Charalambos Petras is an Executive Coach, Psychologist and Anthropologist, with more than seventeen years of experience in coaching, leadership development and planning organizational interventions. It works with leaders, senior executives, successors in leadership positions and management teams, particularly in times of transition, increased responsibility and organizational change.<\/p>

His professional identity combines psychological knowledge, anthropological insight and long experience in leadership and organizations. Alongside his work as Executive Coach and Leadership Consultant, he has developed important institutional, educational and writing work contributing steadily to the development of coaching in Greece and Cyprus. Scientific basis \u2013 the starting point<\/h5>

Charalambos Petras' professional career began with the study of man, culture and institutions. He studied Anthropology and History<\/strong> and Psychology<\/strong> at undergraduate and postgraduate level and worked in research and clinical environments. He was a postgraduate fellow of the National Hellenic Research Foundation and a collaborator of the Psychiatric Service of the Army, where he was honored for his contribution to the staff. These experiences shaped early on his interest in the relationship between individual functioning, role and the wider social and institutional environment.<\/p>

Executive Coaching & Leadership Consulting<\/h5>

In the late 2000s he systematically turned to coaching and leadership development. As Executive Coach and Consultant LeadershipS<\/strong> cooperate with senior and senior executives, entrepreneurs, members of management teams and successors in leadership positions. His many years of presence in different organizational environments has provided him with extensive knowledge of the requirements that come with taking on leadership responsibility, managing people and transitioning to more influential roles. His intervention becomes particularly important in times of change and uncertainty, when the crisis, the presence and the way the role is exercised affect both the leader himself and the organization.<\/p>

Organisational interventions<\/h5>

As an Organizational Development Consultant, he designs complex interventions for managers, leaders and leadership teams. Each project is tailor-made, depending on the culture, strategy, level of responsibility of the participants and the actual development needs. Its role extends from clarifying the request and the architecture of the intervention to selecting the methodology, coordinating the appropriate partners, scientific supervision and ensuring the coherence of the project.<\/p>

Athens Coaching Institute & collaborations<\/h5>

In 2009 he founded the Athens Coaching Institute, one of the first organized bodies of vocational training in coaching in Greece. As Founder and Scientific Director he determines the strategic, scientific and educational direction of the Institute. It designs the professional educational paths, develops their content and methodology and directs the work of the educational team and the partners of the organization.<\/p>

In his professional career he has worked with organizations and executives from the pharmaceutical industry<\/strong>, the telecommunications<\/strong>, on technology<\/strong>, the shipping<\/strong>, on energy<\/strong>, the financial services;<\/strong> the Council of Europe trade<\/strong> and the food industry<\/strong> and consumer goods. His experience also includes collaborations with recognised artists and high-level athletes,<\/strong> in environments of creativity, public exposure and high demands.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Through the Athens Coaching Institute, Charalambos Petras has consistently contributed to the development of professional coaching and Coaching Psychology in Greece. Its institutional action is linked to the strengthening of standards of professional competence and ethics, the development of mentoring and supervision and the creation of partnerships with academics, professionals and institutions from Greece and abroad.<\/p>

    Scientific and public presence<\/h5>

    He has conducted an on-site anthropological study which he presented at the annual conference of the American Anthropological Association. Since 2021, he has been a keynote speaker and president of banks, at the International Conference \u201cBrain & Mind\u201d, developing positions on the relationship of neuroscience with leadership and coaching. .<\/p>

    In 2019, he created the Coaching Talks,<\/strong> a public dialogue initiative around coaching, leadership and the future of organisations. Today, the initiative expands with the Coaching Talks \u2013 The Podcast<\/strong> and Coaching Talks \u2013 The Forum, creating a meeting place for executives, professionals, researchers and people from organisations.<\/p>

    He has been trained and continues to be trained in Organizational, Executive, Team & Life Coaching. \u00a0In Systemic Psychotherapy & Counseling with a focus on Solution-focused interventions.     He is a qualified & accredited Coach, Mentor Coach & Supervisor from the International Coaching Federation & the European Mentoring & Coaching Council.
