Personal development in coaching is\u00a0opposite pole ignition product<\/strong>, contradictory elements inherent in the relationship that the coach creates with his client.\u00a0This relationship is characterized by security, acceptance, introspection and at the same time by challenge, constant demand for change and constant orientation in action. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Paradoxes That Cause<\/strong> <\/strong>change<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sessions are characterized by creative contradictions<\/strong> They create an explosive environment. Working with a professional coach is full of paradoxes, polarities that create the dynamics needed for positive development (i.e. learning and change).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The poles are six and thus, the following three polarities are created: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • Security &amp? challenge.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Accept & change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Awareness & action.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Security & challenge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The coach creates an environment of security and trust. Supports and encourages the expression of thoughts and feelings without critical attitude. Thus, it helps the client to express himself freely without hesitation, to enter into flow and narration by attaining higher levels of awareness. And at the same time, within this security and trust, the coach challenges his client to overturn his certainties and limits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Accept & change<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The coach encourages the client to understand himself and accept all aspects without negativity and evasion. To understand and accept the way he thinks and feels about a situation. And at the same time, it encourages the change of some of these aspects in order to free up alternatives to the achievement of the higher goals. Thus, the coachee navigates between the acceptance of reality and the constant demand for its change, overturning what he has laboriously accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Awareness & action<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Sessions maintain a dynamic balance between awareness and action. The coachee is called to introspection in order to enhance their self-awareness, their awareness of the situation they are experiencing and the situation they wish to experience. It enters a process of observation and reflection while at the same time experiencing a persistent push for action and practical change that culminates in the design of a step plan that will serve what it has decided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In conclusion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Coaching, as I often write, \"happens\" within us. And it happens as an experience of learning and development resulting from the energy emitted by opposing poles!<\/strong> In this action the coachee is exposed within the session. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
