In public discourse, the feat is almost exclusively identified with achievement and result, a reading that focuses on the visible and ignores the process from which it arises.

The feat is in fact not automatically linked to the result, but to the internal process that unfolds in the effort. In other words, ΄ can be a feat and have a moderate – objective – result. It depends on everyone's starting point. The feat of leadership is an experiential experience, it is an internal, qualitative reconstruction that arises in response to the limit that man meets, shifting the center of gravity from "what I achieved" to "what changed within me". The feat is not the result, but the movement that makes it possible.

The feat is an internal qualitative upgrade that is activated in response to a non-negotiable limit.

The limit

The limit is the moment when it becomes clear that who you are is not enough for the beyond. It is not a functional difficulty that is solved with greater effort, but a point of imbalance where the existing identity is exhausted and the way in which you have learned to function is put in crisis.

Defeat, in this sense, at the level of the highest leadership is never, just a negative result. Failure is a boundary point where all data is called into question, a point at which a side of the self is deconstructed that until that moment, was effective, creating the conditions for displacement.

The limit is the moment when you realize that who you are is not enough for the beyond.

What Failure Reveals

Failure in leadership acts as an apocalypse mechanism. It not only exposes strategic failures, but also highlights how the leader thinks, makes decisions, manages tension and relates to others. What is shaken is not only a choice, but the narrative of the self that supported it. It shakes the certainty behind choices and ways.

In this condition, reinstatement cannot be based on surface corrections, but requires a redefinition of the very point from which man perceives and intervenes in reality.

Failure does not show what went wrong, but who you are and much more, who you can become, when everything around you collapses.

The Paradox of Power

A crucial paradox that emerges in practice is that leaders are not driven to the limit primarily by weaknesses, but by forces and successes that have not been challenged. This is happening: Something that works, f΄ brings results. What it attributes is gradually incorporated into the identity and ceases to be considered. That is, man identifies with it and instead of utilizing it, he defends it. The element that led to success is transformed from tool to position.

This is where the blind spots begin. It is the moment when determination becomes rigidity, self-confidence, arrogance and perseverance become a trap. That's why I often say, in the Leadership, the opposite of power is not weakness, but a power that has lost its measure.

The turning point

The moment when things change is the moment when it becomes clear that the issue is not just about the result, but about man himself. That the cause and the way are inside and not outside, and that the responsibility of movement cannot be shifted.

From then on, failure ceases to be an event to be managed and becomes a field of transformation, provided that it is undertaken as a personal matter.

The transcendence begins the moment you recognize that you must change.

Transformation in practice

The shift from "know-it-all" to "learn-it-all" was not communicative.
