16 & 17 December 2022 will be held\u00a03rd Interdisciplinary Conference \"Brain & Mind\"<\/strong>, at the Athens Concert Hall, by the International Non-Profit Organisation for Neuroscience and Mental Health \u201cObrela\u201d. \u201cUmbrella\u201d was founded by the distinguished\u00a0Psychiatrist Orestis Yiotakos<\/a>\u00a0to enhance the multidisciplinary approach to Neuroscience and Mental Health issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Charalambos Petras, founder and director of our Institute, participates in the proceedings of the conference Friday 16 December 2022,<\/strong> on\u00a0Applications of Neuroscience in Management: Managing change in businesses and organisations\u2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The need for further understanding of brain function and disorders requires the constant collaboration of scientists from the fields of neurology, psychiatry, psychology, biology, pharmacology, genetics, neuroimaging and advanced technology. It seems, however, that a more comprehensive and perhaps deeper understanding of human thought, emotions and behavior requires the constant redefinition of the goals and capabilities of neuroscience, with the help of philosophy, which is rich in related logical, conceptual\/semantic and phenomenological analyses. At the same time, the way of researching the mind and the mind, as abilities and phenomena inextricably linked to the brain and the embodied dimension of man, but also the results of this research are already a particularly productive field of research of the philosophy of science. We consider that the natural coexistence of renowned Neuroscientists and Philosophers at this Conference reflects a scientific necessity of years. We believe that this coexistence and the dialogue that we hope will arise, will further contribute to the understanding of the relationship between brain and mind and will inspire the continuation of relevant research by younger scientists. We therefore invite you to contribute with your participation and proposals, your active intervention and your constructive evaluation to this multidisciplinary training program and to the success of the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The right to participate has been set at 200\u20ac for specialists and trainees, 50\u20ac for other health professionals and 20\u20ac for students (plus 24% VAT).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
